Summer Classes 2024
Our once-a-week summer classes are for the kids with the bulging notebooks and the ink-stained fingers, the ones who are frantically typing, even though it’s long past time to go to bed, the ones with flashlights stashed under their pillows for late night reading sessions. They're also for the kids who want to write but just don't know where to start. They're a creative time out—a safe space to to hone writing and public speaking skills while connecting with other kids, in an environment designed to be warm, supportive and nurturing. Class format is always the same: We'll read inspiring texts, discuss, write and share. Traveling? Two evening make-up sessions are available if your writer misses classes, July 12th and July 26th, 7-8:30pm. Registration is ongoing: Students are welcome to join later in the session if there is space.

TAYLOR SWIFT SESSIONS
Select Sundays
4-6pm
$75
Did you know that Taylor Swift went to co-writing sessions as a kid? And that she uses three approaches to writing—Quill, Glitter Gel Pen and Fountain Pen? We'll use Swift's wisdom on writing and lyrics as a window into these very different styles and experiment with all three. And we'll nosh on Taylor's favorite snacks, cinnamon rolls and ginger cookies :)
