Spring Workshops
Classes are currently underway, but we onboard students throughout the season. Outdoors, offline and (mostly) in person in Orinda, elementary and middle grade workshops are for kids who love to write, and also for the kids who want to, but just don't know where to start. They're a creative time out—a safe space to hone writing and public speaking skills while connecting with other kids, in an environment designed to be warm, supportive and nurturing. Over time, many classes evolve to operate like a writer's room on a television show, where young writers encourage and collaborate with one another to make their stories the best they can be, while having a ton of fun in the process.
