Fall 2026 Workshops

Outdoors, offline and in person in Orinda, these elementary, intermediate and advanced workshops are for kids and teens who love to write, and also for those who want to, but just don't know where to start. They're a creative time out—a safe space to hone writing and public speaking skills while connecting with other kids, in an environment designed to be warm, supportive and nurturing. Over time, many classes evolve to operate like a writer's room on a television show, where young writers encourage and collaborate with one another to make their stories the best they can be, while having a ton of fun along the way.
